"If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in." - Rachel Carson
Interestingly, even though Anna is a great reader, we can still spell away. She cannot quickly convert the spelled word into a written word in her head, and loses letters before she gets to her magnetic pad. LOL on the second point - we definitely have a lot of that :)
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness !! We have conversation similar ! I don't think the conversation is any better with a 6 year old, it is still akward ! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThere's also the dangers of what's written on bathroom walls by silly teenagers and immature others.......
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteAww! Look at him put you into awkward and embarrassing situations!
