We completed a geography unit on Mexico. You can read about that here.
We read a couple of good science stories:
Where's My Tail? by Susan Schafer is a cute story about a lizard who loses his tail. He finds out about the reasons other animals do or don't have tails, and he learns that his tail will grow back.
Tracks of a Panda by Nick Dawson is a story which follows a baby panda's through his early months of life. This book has beautiful illustrations and we learned a lot about pandas.
We started on L blends in Progressive Phonics. And we played!

I love your pirate pumpkin, and Crumpet looks great in his Star Wars costume. I have never heard of this opera (of course I heard about Rusalka :)) - I have to check it out!
